Hort Park
Jon Teo and I went to Hort Park to do some shooting today... We didn't know where we wanted to shoot first, so he actually met me at Bukit Gombak MRT after I had finished my driving at around noon, before we went to the Little Gui Lin lake that was close by...

My only shot at "Little Gui Lin" lake
That was rather a disappointment; what I had seen from my numerous drives past it while having driving lessons was exactly what the place was... There was nothing more to it than what you could see from the road. Lol. I just took one shot of the place before we moved on to other sites.
Today's phrase of the day was "quality control". I was aiming to shoot the best possible shots in the fewest possible attempts as possible. Quality over quantity, in that sense. As a result I didn't shoot as much as I normally do, but then again, there's only so much you can do with plants plants and more plants... Lol so sue me, I've no creativity.
We took the MRT to Vivocity where we had lunch, before deciding to take a bus down to Hort Park at the recommendation of my parents, who had gone on the nature trail by themselves about a month back. And so began our epic journey.
Very soon into our hike we realised that it was a HUGE mistake to walk the trail in the hot afternoon sun... Added to that was the fact that I wasn't carrying a water bottle and that the several bridges in the nature trail had lights that came on at night... Oh well. There're always other days to come back to shoot.
We hiked from Hort Park all the way via the treetop trail to the Henderson Waves and then back to Vivocity, where we came from. Haha... Quite fun, but the walk was... Torturous. Oh well. Here are some pics I got from the journey:

Hort Park
A double bouquet... Showing off some good bokeh (pun intended :p)
These bees are HUGE! Half the size of my fist. And all black too...

Treetop trail

Aerial hanging roots

Shhh!

Even the bamboo doesn't escape vandals...

Nature makes the most beautiful structures :)

We weren't at Kallang... So the next best thing was the Henderson Wave :D
