Till We Have Faces

On the 1st and 2nd of February was the KEVII hallplay, "Till We Have Faces"... I had the privilege of being one of the photographers to cover this event, going for 3 nights in a row, including the full dress rehearsal on the 31st of January. It was great fun as I had only covered a stage performance once before (RJC Dance Night 2006 - which turned out quite bad, actually), but I think I can honestly say that I did well for this event (given that I was restricted to the balcony seats for the performance night). Some of these photos are definitely going into my portfolio man :P

The photos I'm gonna post up are those from the first night... When I got a better balcony position nearer the front. The second night was just cui cos I was restricted to shooting from way up and way back from the second level in the centre... So I left the show during the intermission that night. Well, I got the shots I wanted from the previous 2 nights anyway *shrugs*

1. First scene: Haircut for princess Orual

2. Arshvin getting killed by the king. Lolz

3. Princess Psyche giving a kiss to a woman so that her child will grow up to be as beautiful as she

4. The king shows again that with him and his knife, he can RULE THE WORLD

5. Orual showing that she has inherited some traits from her father...

6. Orual weeping over the loss of her beloved sister Psyche

7. Arshvin (now the God of the Mountain) accusing Orual for the banishment of Psyche

8. Look at the capability of my lens zoom. Muahaha

9. Swordfight between Orual and Argan, for Trunia's life.

10. Argan bowing down (literally) to Orual's superior sword skills

11. Orual proving that she and her sword can RULE THE WORLD

12. Haunted by ghosts of the past

13. Arshvin (again) in his millionth role of the night, this time as a messenger of the Gods

Once again, these are just a few of the many photos I took of the 3 nights (487, to be exact)... If you wanna see more, just find me in school or something when I have my laptop. Hahaha... It's gonna be a real headache to sort the portfolio-worthy ones into my portfolio... Argh
