I've always wondered... Is it too much to ask of people to be better than you at certain things?
The way I figure it, I see myself as an outstandingly mediocre person. Mediocre in studies, in sports, in photography, in music etc. Not special or brilliant in anything... I don't seem to have a niche. I'm what you would call a "jack of all trades, master of none".
So I always set myself as a benchmark when I view the performances of other people. It's kind of like... Since I can do it, anyone should be able to as well. Seems to make sense, doesn't it?
Well, I don't know... Sometimes I'm surprised when I can do something that other's can't... Cos most of the time the opposite happens to me. I don't deem myself an expert in anything. As a result I may make too excessive demands of people. Oh well. I don't know. Lolz.
I was born to be a speedster man. Driving is fun, and shifting gears up and up and up is super-duper easy. But braking and shfiting gears down is super hard. Hahahaha. Need more practice!
Rehearsal again tomorrow... I can't wait for those two days to be over. It's like waiting for your execution or death sentence to be carried out... After those two (undoubtedly disastrous) days are over, I'll have a serious weight lifted off my shoulders man. Lol.
