Fireworks
School has started already! It's ok so far I guess, waking up at 0730 everyday and going to school is something I could really get used to after 0530 every morning and falling in... Lol. The whole place is like RJ again! Zomg. I thought it would be like a new experience, but every other person you meet is someone you've seen in school before... Something like a severe case of deja vu, to use the term loosely.
Shucks I'm trying so hard to find a song that will suit my vocal range for Resonance auditions... Why do they want people to prepare a song for them man... I'm a ruddy bass I can't sing high melodies. Sigh. Talk about your uphill tasks. I think I'll end up with no CCAs in NUS. Oh well. More time for mugging! =P
NUS Rag was on the 11th of August, which was two Saturdays ago. It was held at the Padang and it was such a HUGE event... So many times greater in magnitude than I had ever imagined. Well I went down with the illusion that I could grab several good shots of the event but without a media pass I couldn't do much, restricted to long-range shots or backstage shots so... If you want better photos (and I mean MUCH better photos) you should go to Glori's blog (use the links at the side dum-dum)...

From extreme left going clockwise again: Denise, Li Jia, Yao Chen, Shawn, Alvin, Yu Xuan, Zeying, Diana, Celeste and Kaiqian.I went with Jon Teo to take fireworks on Friday, it was so sudden, he smsed me at the morning during PBL asking me if I wanted to take photos of fireworks that night, naturally I agreed. The place was so darn crowded when we got there, we had to jostle our way through the crowd to hunt for a good spot to take photos. Then we realised that they actually opened up the Esplanade Rooftop Terrace for people to view the fireworks and so we actually contemplated going back on Saturday like 5 hours before the event to grab good spots... But we weren't crazy enough to do it.
Just posting some shots of the fireworks for people who didn't go for the two days and wanna view them... =P
As you can see the huge crowd in front of me; terrible! I wanted to get some architecture below the fireworks but that was impossible, so I got the crowd instead.

Oh and I've decided on a song I think... "To Where You Are" by Josh Groban. Wahaha. I hope I do him justice.
