Beginner's Luck

My mom was heading to West Mall yesterday to have lunch with her ex-colleagues, so my father took me and my elder to the Civil Service Club to have some fun before lunch...

I bowled for the first time in my life yesterday! I must say bowling is quite fun... With beginner's luck or by some sort of tyko miracle, I scored 3 strikes in my first game! Lol... My sister kept on going "tyko" in the background... Hahaha. I bombed the second game though. Maybe I will continue to bowl after all. Quite fun.

The three of us then went to play pool at the same place. I found out that my father is quite good at pool. He can place shots very well! And his sense of angles is like... superb. He teamed with my sister against me, and I lost like 7-3... Hahaha. My sister said the gap would have been much bigger if she were on my team. Haha... Not bad la. At least I won 3 times.

I found out that the better my opponent is, the better I play. Usually I miss a lot of shots at pool, attempted long shots or cuts or slices that miss the target. Yesterday I think I played quite well against my father. Haha. Weird huh, it means that I can never judge how good I can be at something.

I took Hash (my dog) to the vet today with my sister. The walk there was a constant struggle! He kept on pulling at his leash and weaving left and right, strangling himself as a result. At least he managed to behave at the clinic and during the walk back.

I experienced a bout of deja vu at the clinic though. Sitting in the waiting room, I had the notion that I had dreamt about the exact scene before, months ago. It was so... surreal, sitting there and reliving the experience again. This is not the first time it has happened to me... Maybe I am psychic, as Liang Ze says. Hahaha.

The vet is like a magician, when she used the stethoscope to measure his heartbeat, Hash calmed immediately. I was amazed because he was so excited throughout. Quite cool... Like she can communicate with animals like that. Fantastic.

I finally set the password encoding to our wireless network... Now I just have to wait and see whether the idiot who has been tapping in to our system still can tap in or not. If he still can...

Going back to school to play soccer with the indians tomorrow...
