4. For every question/scene, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next/ffwd button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool...

Here is the movie.."Boulevard Of Broken Dreams" and its soundtrack...
Opening credits: Mama - My Chemical Romance
Waking up: Like A Stone - Audioslave (hahaha! a very sluggish awakening)
First day of school: Teardrop - Massive Attack (yeah I know going to school sucks...)

Fair-weather Friends

It seems that I have many fair-weather friends. There have been many, many people whom I once considered and treated as a friend, help them in their time of need, talk to them, counsel them, etc... But it seems that when it is convenient for them, they just kick me to the side and let me rot.

They come to me in their time of need. They come to me. I don't spontaneously offer my help. They come to me. The number of times this is happened, I think I can already become a professional counsellor. Time and time again I do what I can for people. Then when I need help, they all conveniently disappear. They leave you for someone or something else.

They use you, they use you till you're dry and just throw you away. They piss you off, they exasperate you, but you still stick with them. Then they abandon you. Any apology offered from them is bullshit. It's just a sickening attempt to quell their guilt.

The worst are those who ONLY come to you when they need help, then they don't give a shit about you till the next time they need it. Those are absolutely the worst.

Don't even get me started on those who expect me to do favours for them when they have never and do not plan to do shit for me in the future.

Now you know why I only have three or four close, CLOSE friends.

I am, and will always be the lone wolf.

No one gives a damn.

"You'll Never Walk Alone"... but I always will, f***ers.

Sore

Wow are my calf muscles sore or what... Went jogging this morning... 4 km then played soccer in school afterwards in the afternoon... Ran up and down the astroturf for 1.5 hours! Hahaha. But I'm not complaining. I like it, actually.

I think the running is paying off, I didn't tire at all during the game despite playing like 3 on 3... Which means street-soccer style running up and down, up and down... As Matilda would say, like a bunch of monkeys... Lol.

Don't need to count goals cos each of us scored so many that we couldn't even be bothered to keep score... Actually more people were supposed to come but a lot of them didn't cos of the rain, cos they're doing jobs, or cos they flew back to India (yeah, I usually play with the Indians). So... The 6 of us ended up playing in the rain. Haha. Would have been more fun if RI wasn't undergoing construction work and the whole area was so sandy and grimy. The astroturf is in really bad shape... The layers are coming out and the gravel underneath (why is there gravel underneath?) is being exposed so if you step on the wrong places you can expect a sharp pain... Some parts have even sunk inwards and the water from the rain accumulated on top... So basically we were playing in a shallow pool of water at some points. Haha.

My doctor is not going to like me. I aggravated the foot injury I got many months ago at Rong En's party at his house... I think it's recurred. Now it hurts to apply pressure on the front of my left foot... Oh well. That's what you get when you play barefoot I guess.

But it was fun! Suddenly I don't feel any strain/stitch/whatever when I run... Just the exhilaration of sprinting at top speed... Great stuff. That's why my calf muscles are dead now... Hahaha.

I'm going to post the "Gears Of War" theme song and locust battle song at my mediaplayer... Take a listen, I think they're real nice orchestral tracks... I'm becoming a real fanatic... Greatest game I've ever played, in my opinion.

One month to go to NS! Haha.

Beginner's Luck

My mom was heading to West Mall yesterday to have lunch with her ex-colleagues, so my father took me and my elder to the Civil Service Club to have some fun before lunch...

I bowled for the first time in my life yesterday! I must say bowling is quite fun... With beginner's luck or by some sort of tyko miracle, I scored 3 strikes in my first game! Lol... My sister kept on going "tyko" in the background... Hahaha. I bombed the second game though. Maybe I will continue to bowl after all. Quite fun.

The three of us then went to play pool at the same place. I found out that my father is quite good at pool. He can place shots very well! And his sense of angles is like... superb. He teamed with my sister against me, and I lost like 7-3... Hahaha. My sister said the gap would have been much bigger if she were on my team. Haha... Not bad la. At least I won 3 times.

I found out that the better my opponent is, the better I play. Usually I miss a lot of shots at pool, attempted long shots or cuts or slices that miss the target. Yesterday I think I played quite well against my father. Haha. Weird huh, it means that I can never judge how good I can be at something.

I took Hash (my dog) to the vet today with my sister. The walk there was a constant struggle! He kept on pulling at his leash and weaving left and right, strangling himself as a result. At least he managed to behave at the clinic and during the walk back.

I experienced a bout of deja vu at the clinic though. Sitting in the waiting room, I had the notion that I had dreamt about the exact scene before, months ago. It was so... surreal, sitting there and reliving the experience again. This is not the first time it has happened to me... Maybe I am psychic, as Liang Ze says. Hahaha.

The vet is like a magician, when she used the stethoscope to measure his heartbeat, Hash calmed immediately. I was amazed because he was so excited throughout. Quite cool... Like she can communicate with animals like that. Fantastic.

I finally set the password encoding to our wireless network... Now I just have to wait and see whether the idiot who has been tapping in to our system still can tap in or not. If he still can...

Going back to school to play soccer with the indians tomorrow...

Here It Goes Again

Wow haven't been blogging for a long time... Will tomorrow though it'll be an eventful day I think... Or hope.

This is a song that probably embodies my life in general. Unless you can find a song called "Loser" or "Sucker For Punishment" or something to that effect... But well, "Here It Goes Again". The dancing is totally irrelevant to the lyrics, but I really enjoy their creativity and inventiveness. But the lyrics are what I can really relate to. This is my favourite song at the moment.

Here It Goes Again by OK Go

It could be ten, but then again, I can't remember half an hour since a quarter to four.
Throw on your clothes, the second side of Surfer Rosa, and you leave me with my jaw on the floor.

Just when you think you're in control,
Just when you think you've got a hold,
Just when you get on a roll,

Here it goes, here it goes, here it goes again.
Oh, here it goes again.

I should have known,
Should have known,
Should have known again,
But here it goes again.
Oh, here it goes again.

It starts out easy, something simple, something sleazy, something inching past the edge of the reserve.
Now through lines of the cheap venetian blinds your car is pulling off of the curb.

Just when you think you're in control,
Just when you think you've got a hold,
Just when you get on a roll,

Here it goes, here it goes, here it goes again.
Oh, here it goes again.

I should have known, should have known,
Should have known again,
But here it goes again.
Oh, here it goes again.

I guess there's got to be a break in the monotony, but Jesus, when it rains how it pours.
Throw on your clothes, the second side of Surfer Rosa, and you leave me, yeah, you leave me.

Oh, here it goes, here it goes, here it goes again.
Oh here it goes again.

I should have known, should have known,
Should have known again,
But here it goes again.
Oh, here it goes again.

Conservation Of Mass

Hey people, do I have a great diet tip for you!

Based on the conservation of mass theory, you are, literally, what you eat. Since mass cannot be created or destroyed, the mass of what you consume will be added to your total body mass. (Or less, since you account for movement, respiration and all that crap) Therefore, you can eat WHATEVER you want. Chow down that fatty burger you've always been eyeing! Eat that bar of chocolate calling your name! As long as it weighs less than the amount that will put you on the wrong side of the scale, EAT IT IF YOU WANT TO! Hahaha.

Also based on the conservation of mass theory is the Monkey King (Sun Wu Kong) and his staff, contributed by our resident eccentric genius, Poisson Kwong!

When Sun Wu Kong got his magical staff, it was very very very huge and extremely heavy, right? But he was strong enough to lift it, and could shrink it to such a size that he could fit it into his ear. By the conservation of mass theory, his ear connections to his head must be very very very very super strong. Otherwise his ear would have torn off the moment he put the staff in.

So if his staff is so heavy, shouldn't one whack of it kill any demon already? It's the ultimate weapon, man! Hahaha.
